I’m a German artist, born and raised in a small city near Berlin. Inspired by my grandmother, I developed a love for painting and exploring various artistic mediums from a young age. This led me to study Architecture & Design in Germany and Spain. After working as an Architect in England for 2.5 years, I realised that it was not where my heart was.
In 2015, I set out on what was meant to be a year of travel across Asia. But when I arrived in Penang, I knew I had found a special place. I decided to stay, study Fine Art, and dive deeply into the art of tattooing. I then opened my own private tattoo studio in Penang in early 2021.
Today, my practice has evolved into a unique, intuitive approach that combines art with healing. I’m on a journey of discovering the spiritual and ritualistic aspects of tattooing, using it as a means to offer transformative experiences. This journey has led me to explore new techniques and connect with clients on a deeper level—each piece is a collaborative creation, rooted in intuition and a shared energy that goes beyond the skin.

Stefanie was professional in her service delivery. I felt equipped with what I had to expect and follow throughout the entire process including the aftercare. Any fear or nervousness right around when I stepped into the studio dissipated when I was greeted warmly (it was my first tattoo). Stefanie is a good conversationalist but this doesn't take away her focus and professionalism in getting my tattoo done right.
